About

Welcome, wanderer.
There is more to find just up ahead.
About me.
A Fellow Wanderer.
I am Tyler Finders — a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Religion and Christian Counseling and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been doing this work since 2020 and currently practice at Mend Integrative Wellness.
But credentials only tell part of the story. I built this space because the ideas that matter most to me rarely stay inside the therapy room — they belong in the conversation, on the page, and in the stories we tell each other. Here you will find writing on counseling, faith, philosophy, and the books, films, and games that reveal something true about what it means to be human.
I am not here as an expert handing down answers. I am a fellow wanderer who has spent some time on the road, read some good books, sat with a lot of people in hard seasons, and has things worth sharing around a common fire. If any of that sounds like your kind of company, stick around.
I am a licensed counselor exploring the intersection of faith, psychology, and story — sharing what I find along the way.

The Road Goes On
Every wanderer needs somewhere to stop, reflect, and find their bearings. The blog is that place — a space for honest thinking on counseling, faith, and the stories that shape how we understand ourselves. Come in from the road and see what finds you.
