Paths That Wind and Wander — An Introduction

Welcome in off the road, weary traveler. I just threw another log on the fire and dinner will be ready soon. I have heard many stories from the road of broken wheels, bad weather, and unkind folk. Here you can find rest in good company and nourishment. Whether you are just setting out or have been on the road a long while, there is a place for you here. Here we welcome stories, song, and wisdom from the road. You may find here exactly the encouragement needed to continue on. For now, find a seat, gather yourself, and be ready with open ears for what is coming next.

Every inn has a keeper, and every road has a story. Let me tell you mine. I am Tyler Finders, a mental health counselor, and like you, a wanderer. The journey to this point has been filled with unexpected turns, joyous sights, ill choices, chance-meetings, and misfortune. The road has a way of forging, shaping, and tempering you into something greater – and for me, that road has led here. Here you will find counseling, philosophy, and stories – honest conversation around a common fire. Though the road can wait for a time, you cannot stay by the fire for long. The stories and insight shared at the fireside will equip you for the road ahead.
